Steele’s Creek: Steele Creek has over 2,200 acres of natural beauty along 25 miles of hiking trails. The park also features a nature center and lakeside pier for fishing and paddleboats during summer months.
Sugar Hollow: A 400-acre park featuring picnic areas, a soccer complex, a softball complex, and miles of trails for hiking or a leisurely walk. Visitors can also enjoy the nature trail.
South Holston Lake: A 7,580 acre reservoir offers great fishing, water sports, hiking, picnicking and camping.

Historic Downtown Bristol Self-Guided Walking Tour: Take a self-guide walking tour through revitalized historic downtown featuring turn-of-century architecture, specialty shops, dining, and cultural opportunities. You’ll discover why Bristol is the official “Birthplace of Country Music”. Be sure to allow extra time for some great shopping. Maps and MP3 player rentals are available through the Bristol Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Mountain Music Museum: Located on the lower level of the Bristol Mall this museum is dedicated to preserving the legacies of the many great men and women who helped create and promote the wonderful music that we all hold so dear. There are dozens of interesting displays featuring one-of-kind vintage photographs, musical instruments, LP recordings, authentic stage attire and much, much more.
Grand Guitar/the Guitar Museum: Houses collection of rare and unusual instruments, including guitars, ukuleles, lap steels, resonator guitars, banjos, mandolins, dulcimers, auto harps, and violins. They range from primitive American handmade to exotic instruments from different countries. Also home the historic radio station WOPI.
